Jim Mahfood is the underground cartoonist behind such books as Grrl Scouts, Stupid Comics, Bad Ideas (with Chinsang and Crosland), 40oz Collected, and Classic 40 Ounce: Tales From the Brown Bag. He illustrated Kevin Smith’s Clerks comics, has produced four Spider-Man books for Marvel, done work for the Simpsons comics, and has most recently provided the art for Marvel’s all humor book Wha Huh?! His weekly newspaper strip, Stupid Comics Presents, can be seen at www.phoenixnewtimes.com. He is currently doing character design work for Cartoon Network, funkin’ it up with Windstar Trunk Funk, and illustrating the new book Felt: True Tales of Underground Hip Hop Starring Slug and Murs. A true child of the sun born in Scottsdale, Arizona; Nicole’s passion for Film & Music stems from her parents. She is currently showing her short film “The Agents” a live action comic book and shooting “Watching the Wheels” a music documentary on DJs featuring interviews with Q-Tip, Z-Trip, Rich Medina, Nelson George and more…
Along with writing feature length screenplays, Saucey likes to play records and get down to the funky sounds of her favorite DJs.
